# Deflation on Steroids

**Transaction Tax on EVERY TRANSACTION**

With $SK, each transaction (buy/sell or wallet transfer) has a minimum 5% tax where:

* **30%** of every transaction tax is taken and re-distributed to **all $SK** [**stakers**](https://docs.sidekick.finance/sidekick-finance/protocols/sidekick-elite-token-usdsk/staking)
* **15%** is re-distributed to **Sidekick Hero and SuperHero NFTs**
* **10%** is sent to our *custom burn contract*, **the** [**Lazarus Pit**](https://docs.sidekick.finance/sidekick-finance/protocols/sidekick-elite-token-usdsk/manual-burn)
* **25%** is sent to add liquidity on $SK token LP
* **20%** is paid out to the dev team for continued **development efforts, marketing and expansion**.

These mechanics combined with our $SK Vault will allow our long term holders to focus on what they need rather than pump and dump and network saboteurs. ***Long-term holders will benefit the most in our system.***
